BEHIND THE SCENES

Kai Pruitte, Owner and CEO of Frequency Beauty, is your everyday woman. By day, she works as a middle school educator, but she has always had ties to the fashion industry through freelance modeling. Through modeling, she became a makeup enthusiast. However, as she embarked on her personal journey to live more holistically and naturally, it became apparent that many products in the beauty industry contained ingredients that were not safe for your body and health. Often, many of the lip glosses or lipsticks that she would use would cause her to break out.

After research, she was able to identify many of the ingredients that are harmful to your skin and/or cause skin irritation. Your skin is the largest organ of your body, and it directly absorbs whatever is put on it. Parabens are known to potentially disrupt hormone function, and have been linked to health issues like breast cancer and reproductive issues. It was important to Kai to create a brand that women could feel better about using and would not put them in harm’s way, but would also not require them to sacrifice luxury quality in their products. Frequency Beauty products are not only paraben free, but also manufactured without gluten. We also provide some vegan options, and all products are mineral based and include enriching oils like vitamin E, avocado oil, grape seed oil, jojoba oil, and sweet almond oil.

The goal of Frequency Beauty is to cultivate a community of individuals that feel empowered by their beauty products so that they are always in alignment with the best version of themselves. Kai believes that vibrating on a higher frequency is not just a phrase, but a lifestyle choice. It should be incorporated into all aspects of your life. We at Frequency Beauty believe your beauty products should always be in alignment. When you look good, you feel good. When you feel good, you vibrate higher! We hope your purchase helps elevate your frequency!
